Ohio Ban on Gambling

Ted Strickland, Ohio state’s democratic governor, has asked the GOP controlled legislature to ban cash payouts from gaming machines, which are increasingly popping up around the state. Strickland threatened the veto during a news conference with Attorney General Marc Dann. Governor and Attorney General Marc Dann said devices that function like a slot machines and pay winners in cash should be illegal in Ohio.
